Happy new year! This time of year offers the possibility of space. It gives us some time off to reflect on our lives, rest, organize the house, set goals, enjoy our loved ones, etc. In doing so, we remember the value of spaciousness.
- Amusement– watch funny videos, do a belly laugh, tell yourself some bad jokes, act out your un-helpful habits while looking in the mirror making goofy faces.
- Acceptance– pray, relax your body through massage or yoga or a warm bath, consider the worst it could get and realize you’ll be ok, write a love letter to yourself or tell the other person what you appreciate about them.
- Perspective– talk to a friend or counselor, receive a reading or healing, meditate, go somewhere new (near or far), read, take classes, listen to inspiring audios or watch videos, study how others do it.
